Day 01 :

Kathgodam to Lohajung

Drive Distance (Kathgodam to Lohajung): 250 km | 10-12 hrs.
Pickup Time: 5:30 AM
Accommodation: Hotel/Guest House
Altitude: Kathgodam (1,391 ft) to Lohajung (7,545 ft)
Drive through Almora, Kausani, and Dewal, enjoying scenic mountain views.
Reach Lohajung by evening, the base camp for the trek.
Check into a guesthouse/homestay, rest, and acclimatize.
Overnight stay in Lohajung.

Day 02 :

Lohajung to Bekaltal

Trek Distance: 5-6 km | 5-6 hrs.
Accommodation: Tent
Altitude: Lohajung (7,545 ft) to Bekaltal (9,882 ft).
Start trekking after breakfast through oak and rhododendron forests.
Enjoy stunning views of Nanda Ghunti along the way.
Reach Bekaltal, a beautiful open clearing surrounded by trees.
Enjoy a bonfire and stargazing at night.
Overnight stay in tents at Bekaltal.

Day 03 :

Bekaltal to Brahmatal

Trek Distance: 7-8 km | 6-7 hrs.
Accommodation: Tent
Altitude: Bekaltal (9,882 ft) to Brahmatal (10,450 ft).
Trek through snow-covered meadows and ridges in winter.
Reach Brahmatal Lake, a serene, frozen lake in winter.
Explore the surroundings and capture the mesmerizing Himalayan views.

Day 04 :

Brahmatal to Brahmatal Top to Daldum Campsite

Trek Distance: 12-13 km | 8-10 hrs.
Accommodation: Tent
Altitude: Brahmatal (10,450 ft) to Brahmatal Top (12,250 ft) to Daldum Camp (9,350 ft).
The trek is moderately difficult until you reach the top of Brahmatal, after which you will descend towards Daldum Campsite via Jhandi Top.
You will pass through Rhododendron and Oak forests.
You will have a packed lunch at the top with stunning 360-degree views of the mountains.
The first 180 degrees of the view covers Chaukhamba, Mana, Mandir, Neelkanth, Nilgiri, Nanda Ghunti, Trishul, and Maitoli up towards the Panchachuli Ranges. The remaining 180 degrees cover the Shivalik Himalayan Mountains.

Day 05 :

Daldum Campsite to Lohajung

Trek Distance: 4-5 km | 5-6 hrs.
Accommodation: Hotel/Guest House
Altitude: Daldum Camp (9,350 ft) to Lohajung (7,545 ft).
The trek requires you to climb steep and gradual paths, with an altitude loss of 1,800 feet)
You’ll come across the shepherd’s huts that locals use to house their livestock, and from there, take the stone-paved path that connects the mountain communities to Lohajung.
Once you reach Lohajung, you can freshen up at the hotel/guesthouse and then wander around the town in the evening. The sunsets from Lohajung are spectacular, and you can also visit the town market to purchase souvenirs from the excursion.
